Nella contrada piu' in alto dell'isola, Sibà, alle pendici di Montagna Grande, si trova la grotta del Benikulà, un anfratto roccioso nel ventre della montagna dal quale escono gli effluvi benefici del vulcano. Il luogo e' chiamato dai panteschi "grotta del bagno asciutto" perchè è una vera e propria sauna naturale fruibile in ogni giorno e ora dell'anno. I suoi effetti sono di gran lunga migliori di quelli di una sauna artificiale.
Immergersi nella penombra della grotta respirando il fiato bollente di Madre Terra nel totale silenzio, credo sia un'esperienza ampia, potente non solo a livello fisico ma anche e soprattutto a livello psico-spirituale.
Il Benikulà non è un luogo molto conosciuto dai turisti, che spesso sono Sataria directed to where you can 'relax in hot tubs, but which lack the dense vapor that gets rid of body, mind and spirit by the heaviness in all its forms.

Inside the cave you are comfortably seated (on the bare stone of course) in 4-5 people, but it is preferable to have this experience in total solitude to enjoy all the effects. There is nothing but a towel and a pair of comfortable shoes to get there as you walk about 10 minutes of walking path.
Avoid having to drag MP3 or CD player and enjoy only the voice of the belly of Mother Earth, her warm caress regenerating.
If you like the adventure of night equipe candles (small round ones) and the experience of the cave of the dry bath will remain engraved in your memory.
